The next morning, Mitzi is up early to make breakfast before she leaves for work.  She starts out making a mess of the kitchen while stirring her eggs and then ends up overcooking them so much that they stick to the skillet.

Because of her breakfast disaster, Mitzi decides to watch the cooking channel to increase her cooking skill while she eats.

Her breakfast leaves her totally unsatisfied, but Mitzi doesn’t have time to dwell on it because she has to get ready for work.

Dressed with time to spare, Mitzi brushes up on her charisma skill and then leaves for her first day working in the entertainment career.

Mitzi returns to the Blue Velvet after work, but the mixologist isn’t there yet, so she can’t order food.  Left to her own devices, she finds a grill and cooks up way too many hamburgers.

Mitzi returns to the Blue Velvet and runs into Eric once again… this time he’s there without his wife.  They sit down to talk, and Eric soon begins discussing a problem that he’s having at work.  Mitzi shows him her goofiest expression to cheer him up.

At first, Eric doesn’t react… then he begins to laugh.

Eric:  You really are funny.

Mitzy:  Thank you… I try to be anyway.

Eric:  There’s no way I could have gone to my wife and told her that I was thinking about quitting my job.  I’m glad I ran into you… thanks for listening without judgment.

Mitzi:  You’ll have to talk to her about it eventually… who knows, she may surprise you.

Eric:  Naw… she’s not as calm and collected as you are.  Maybe we should hang out more often…

As tempted as Mitzi is to hang out with Eric more… she knows that it’s a situation that she doesn’t want to get involved in.  For just one moment, she’s into her feelings… definitely noting that there’s some mutual attraction there.  But then her head takes over and she knows that she should leave while she still can.

Mitzi:  Thanks for the offer Eric, but it really wouldn’t be appropriate… you know?

Eric:  I guess not.  Well… thanks for listening anyway.

Mitzi:  No problem… see you around sometime.

Mitzi stands to leave.  She may be lonely at times, but she wants more than anything to find a man of her own.  She’s not desperate enough to share someone’s husband and she’s definitely not a homewrecker.  She leaves the bar and returns home; ready to end another day.
