Ray runs into his sister Gladys at the campground.
Raymond: What are you doing here?
Gladys: I just thought I’d come check out the new campgrounds.
Raymond: Glad to see you!
While Ray is chatting it up with his sister… Mitzi is determined to be miserable.
The only thing Mitzi is even remotely interested in is trying out the horse shoe game. She still has the pouty lip thing going though.
It’s time for Ray to check out the restrooms, which are a short hike away from the campgrounds. He is greeted by a swarm of bugs inside. Ray knows that Mitzi won’t be too happy to hear that.
Mitzi: So Ray, what do the bathrooms look like?
Raymond: Did I tell you how beautiful you look in your outdoorsy outfit?
Mitzi: Thanks… now stop avoiding the question!
Raymond: Um… well, there’s a swarm of bugs inside the bathrooms.
Just as Ray predicted… Mitzi isn’t too happy to hear that. She tries her best to hold it together in front of Trent, but she’s clearly upset. She retreats into the tent, the only “safe” place, to think about how she’s going to manage to hold her pee until she gets home tomorrow.
While Mitzi is in her mood… Ray and Trent decide to explore the camp grounds.
Trent: *amazed* Whoa!!
Ray and Trent bond while cloud watching.
There’s no way that Mitzi is going to lie down on the ground…so she sits, fights off the bugs, and tries desperately to get some cell phone reception.
The family sits around the campfire.
Raymond: Come on over here Trent… let me show you how to roast a marshmallow.
Mitzi actually has a smile on her face while roasting marshmallows for smores.
Mitzi can’t hold it anymore… she has to use the bug-infested restrooms. On the way… she sees the unexpected. She almost freaks out, but then realizes that it’s just a costume.
Mitzi: *thinking to herself* Some people play too much!
Trent has a snack before bed. (The camp cooler is pretty cool and offers new quick meal choices)
Mitzi grabs Ray into an unexpected embrace…
Mitzi: Meet me in the tent once Trent goes to sleep! *enters the tent*
(I was hoping to get some tent woohoo going, but it wouldn’t work no matter what I did… so everyone was forced to go to sleep instead)
