Trent… always the earliest riser!
Mitzi: Trent, do you know why mommy’s tummy keeps getting bigger?
Trent: Because you ate up all daddy’s birthday cake?
Mitzi: What?! Did daddy tell you that?
Trent: Yes
Mitzi: No…my tummy is bigger because… I’m having another baby!
Trent: But why? You already have me.
Mitzi: Don’t you want to have a little brother or sister to play with?
Trent: *quietly thinking about it*
Mitzi: What about a little person to follow you around?
Trent: *more silence*
Mitzi: What about someone who you can boss around?
Trent: *suddenly excited* Yes! I get to boss him around!!
Mitzi: Maybe just a little.
Trent has left for school by the time Ray gets up to cook breakfast. As they both get ready to sit down at the table… Mitzi has an important question for him…
Mitzi: Did you tell Trent that I ate up all of your birthday cake?
Raymond: Huh?
Ray and Mitzi decide to take their family leave so that they can begin to prepare for the new baby’s arrival.
Mitzi finds time to connect with her friend Beverly, who’s not too happy that her best friend has relocated to another town.
Gladys stops by to see if Ray and Mitzi are happy with the relocation. Ray shows just how happy he is by making a few drinks at the bar.
Eating and sleeping are all Mitzi is feeling like doing these days.
Mitzi: *rubs sore lower back* I am so ready to have this baby.
Raymond: Hang in there Mitz… that baby will be here before you know it!
Trent comes home from school feeling grumpy and discouraged over his grades, but he finds the perfect cure for his bad mood!
Waiting on a new baby to arrive is exhausting!
Ray’s cooking skills just keep getting better!
