Reminder: This is my very first Sims 4 family, which was originally posted back in 2015. I’m in the process of moving these posts over from my Tumblr page. See more info here!

There’s a new bake stand in town and the Wallace-Livingston family is one of the first to check it out!

Raymond:  We don’t need to buy anything babe… I can make all of this stuff!

Mitzi:  What’s the fun of coming to a bakery and not buying anything?  Don’t be cheap Ray!

Mitzi buys some cupcakes and the family gets ready to leave, but when some of the pretty girls from school begin to arrive… Trent suddenly has very good reason to stay.

Raymond:  *to Trent* You ready to go, son?

Trent:  No… I think I’ll stay here for a while.

Trent enters the bake stand and greets his classmate Danielle.

Trent:  I’m surprised to see you here!

Danielle:  Are you kidding me?  A new bakery in town?  You’d better believe I’d be here!

Trent:  *chuckles*  Along with everyone else!

Danielle agrees to sit down outside with Trent to talk.  KJ’s words briefly cause Trent to doubt himself, but he figures that if Danielle wasn’t even a little bit interested in him, she wouldn’t agree to sit down with him.  They sit in silence for a few moments while Trent tries to think of something to say. Finally, he comes up with something…

Trent:  So… since you’re new to town, maybe I can show you around.

Danielle: That’ll be cool… hey, guess what?  I think we’re neighbors!  I thought I saw you going into your house the other day.  It looked like you had been jogging.

Trent:  We live next to a small park, across the street from Top Notch Comedy Club.

Danielle:  Yep, well I live right next door to you!

Trent:  Cool!  We’ll be should definitely hang out.

Trent:  Well… can I come by tomorrow?

Danielle: I’ll come to you, my mom is a little… strict. She’d have a fit if you came knocking on my door.

Trent:  OK… I’ll be home all day.

Danielle: OK

Trent:  OK *wipes sweaty hands on jeans*

With his nerves awry, Trent decides to return home before his conversation with Danielle started to become awkward.  Mitzi has taken the kids shopping, so only Ray is home.  Trent appreciates the quiet and decides to spend it creating a new painting.

Mitzi and the kids head to Forever Young Clothing & Toy Store to do some school shopping.

Mitzi:  That’s a cute outfit Kisha!  Go ahead and try that on!

Kisha:  I like it, but can we get something that’s not so… pink?

Meanwhile, Greg is in My Sims heaven…or is it the trucks that have captured his attention?

Gregory:  Whoa!

The only problem with having a children’s store with an attached arcade is this… all of the employees are slacking off!

Greg finally gets a chance to try out the virtual arcade game.

Kisha: Mom… look at the castle dollhouse.

Mitzi:  It’s nice!

Kisha:  I know… can I have it?

Mitzi:  But you already have a dollhouse.

Kisha:  But this one is better!

Mitzi:  You don’t have room for another dollhouse.

Kisha:  Yes I do!  Ummm… you can take my bed out.

Mitzi:  *firm tone* Kisha!

Kisha: Never mind.

OK, so this is a children’s store, and not only is the employee in the purple shirt still slacking off… but what he’s playing seems totally inappropriate.

Although Mitzi has been a comedian for a long time now, she’s still shocked when people recognize her.

Mitzi:  You actually know who I am?

Stephanie:  Of course I do!  You are one of my favorites… *to another customer*  You have to check this woman out… she’s hilarious!

(Note:  The store employee, Stephanie Williams, is available in the SIms 4 gallery)

Mitzi and the kids sit down for a snack before returning home…

Kisha:  You know mom… if we had an allowance, we wouldn’t have to ask you for things all the time.

Mitzi:  An allowance?  Are you willing to do some extra chores around the house for an allowance?

Kisha:  Yes!

Mitzi:  What about you Greg?

Gregory:  Yes!

Mitzi:  Even if I tell you to empty the trash and clean the bathroom?

Kisha:  Uh… the toilet too?

Mitzi:  Especially the toilet!

Kisha:  *hesitates* Okay… but I’d need an extra dollar for that!

Mitzi:  But, I don’t get any money for cleaning the toilet.

Kisha:  You need some better negotiation skills mom!

Mitzi:  *laughs* I guess so!

Back at home, Trent completes another painting that looks a lot like Granite Falls.  Is it time for the family to go camping again?

As Mitzi and the kids return, Trent decides to go for a jog.

The kids are all in bed and despite Kisha’s request for an allowance… Mitzi still ends up being the one cleaning the bathroom.

Ray returns home after another long day.
