Reminder: This is my very first Sims 4 family, which was originally posted back in 2015. I’m in the process of moving these posts over from my Tumblr page. See more info here!

Mitzi still hasn’t recovered from working a late shift, so it’s up to Ray to make sure the kids have their breakfast and leave for school on time.

Mitzi:  I know that look…what are you up to?

Raymond:  My sister Gladys is dating for the first time ever and I want to go and be nosy.  Want to come?

Mitzi:  Of course…nosy is my middle name!

An hour later, Mitzi and Ray arrive at Mitzi’s old house, where Gladys now stays.  Ray knocks and Gladys lets them in.

Mitzi:  Good to see you Gladys *gives Gladys a hug*

Gladys:  You too!

Ray skips all the formalities with Gladys and walks straight over to her boyfriend.

Raymond:  Quinn, right?  I heard a lot about you… I’m Ray.

Quinn:  Nice to meet you, Ray.

While Mitzi keeps Gladys distracted… Ray goes right in on Quinn with the tough questions.

Raymond:  So where do you live Quinn?

Quinn:  Here.

Raymond:  Here as in with my sister or here as in Willow Creek.

Quinn:  Both…Gladys and I recently decided to move in together.

Raymond:  Oh, OK.  What do you do for a living?

Quinn:  Well, I’m currently in between jobs… looking to start my own business.

Raymond:  So you’re unemployed?

Quinn:  I guess you can call it that, but it’s temporary.  As soon as my small business loan goes through I’ll be my own boss.

Gladys doesn’t leave Quinn on his own with Ray for long.

Gladys:  So what have you two been talking about?

Raymond:  Quinn’s unemployment…

Mitzi can see where Ray is about to take the conversation, so she butts in…

Mitzi:  Hey… let’s get outta here.  Anybody up for a drink?

Mitzi, Ray, Quinn and Gladys head to the local bar.  To Mitzi’s relief, both Quinn and Gladys seem unfazed with Ray’s rude statement back at the house.

Raymond:  So – Quinn, do you have any children?

Quinn:  Nope… and I won’t be having any either.

Raymond:  No?  Why not… you don’t like children?

Quinn:  I’m about making money, and as I see it…children are a liability, not an asset.

Raymond:  Are you kidding me?  We have three children and they are our most precious asset!

Quinn:  And how much savings do you have?

Raymond:  Not very much, but-

Quinn:  My point exactly!

Mitzi can’t resist an open mike, so she tries out a new comedy routine…

Mitzi: Guess what ya’ll… once upon a time, I wanted to become an astronaut.  I almost became one too… I wanted nothing more than to travel to space until I realized that big boobs and zero gravity don’t exactly mix.  Imagine me floating out in space with my boobs floating in front of my face…blocking my view –

Mitzi wasn’t sure how the crowd would react to her boob jokes, but she actually earned over 100 simoles in tips.

It’s almost time for Mitzi and Ray to leave, but Ray has just one last thing to say to Quinn…

Raymond:  At first I wasn’t too sure about you Quinn… we don’t exactly see eye to eye, but the more I talk to you – the more I realize that you and my sister are perfect for each other.

Quinn:  Really?  In what way?

Raymond:  You both have a very off-kilter way of looking at life, so I’m sure you two will have a good one together.  I mean that as a compliment.

Quinn:  Thank you, Ray.  I really like your sister and I promise to be good to her.

Raymond:  That’s all I ask.

Mitzi:  So what did you think about Quinn?

Raymond:  At first I didn’t like him…especially when he implied that our kids are a liability, not an asset.

Mitzi:  He said that?!

Raymond:  Yeah…but think about it, can’t you imagine Gladys saying the same type of thing?

Mitzi:  Now that you mention it-

Raymond:  *finishes Mitzi’s sentence* they’re perfect for each other.
