Kisha’s starting to believe that coming to this bar was a bad idea. She feels bad for being so mean to Abraham.
Kisha: Did I really just bring my drink with me to a public restroom? Gross!
Considers throwing it out in case it’s contaminated with germs or something, but rethinks it.
Kisha: Oh well! *gulps in down in one swallow*
Kisha washes up and decides to leave her bad attitude there in the restroom. It’s no one’s fault that she’s in a shitty mood. She won’t take it out on anyone else.
As Kisha’s coming down the stairs, she spots Angela’s neighbor, Jeff, sitting at one of the tables.
Kisha: Jeff?
Jeffrey: Hey Kisha! Are you sure you’re at the right bar?
Kisha: What?
Jeffrey: I wouldn’t want you to show up at the wrong place again!
Kisha: Ha, ha…very funny.
Jeffrey: I thought for sure that would put a smile on your face. You’re a tough one. I’m usually a pretty funny guy.
Kisha: It’s not you…believe me. Why are you sitting in a bar, reading a book?
Jeffrey: I wasn’t aware that there was a wrong place to read a book. I just saw it sitting here and decided to check it out. Turns out that it was a good decision on my part…because it got your attention, right?
Kisha: I guess.
Kisha: By the way…I wanted to apologize to you for being so rude to you earlier. I just haven’t been myself lately.
Jeffrey: I didn’t think you were being rude. You just weren’t in the mood to talk… I get that. No big deal.
Kisha: Well…I’d better get out of here.
Jeffrey: Wait…you can’t leave yet.
Kisha: Why not?
Jeffrey: Because I’m determined to see what your smile looks like.
Kisha: What?
Jeffrey: I have a feeling that you have a pretty smile and I want to see it. Will you at least dance with me one time?
Kisha: One dance and that’s it, but I’m not smiling.
Jeffrey: Sounds like a challenge!
Jeff starts dancing; glancing over at Kisha every few minutes to see if he’s made her smile. When he sees it isn’t working…he starts doing some weird old-school dance.
Jeffrey: Check that out…you just can’t hang.
Kisha: You’re looking real crazy right now.
Despite trying really hard not to, Kisha finally smiles. She turns away, hoping that Jeff doesn’t see it.
Kisha: Didn’t work…I’m leaving.
Jeffrey: What are you talking about? I just saw you smile.
Kisha: It wasn’t a smile…it was a grimace. I’m leaving.
Jeffrey: So that’s how it is…I make you smile and you leave me hanging?
Kisha refuses to admit that he’s won. Not yet anyway.
Kisha: Yep…that’s the way it is. Have a good night.
Kisha leaves the bar and finds herself smiling and giggling over Jeff and his silly dance moves all the way home.
