It’s Greg and Abrey’s wedding day! They invite a few family and friends to attend their special day at the Garden of Devotion.
Abrey makes sure that everything is set up for the ceremony. He greets his mother with a big hug.
Leigh: I’m so happy for you son! I just hope your marriage turns out a lot better than mine did.
Abrey: It will mom…don’t worry!
Greg is feeling anxious and ready for the wedding to begin. Kisha is so happy that her big brother has found someone that he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Kisha: I’m so glad you’re getting married here, in the same spot where mom and dad exchanged their vows.
Gregory: Me too…It’s almost like having them here with us!
Kisha watches Abrey reassure Greg through his nervousness…
Gregory: *shaky voice* Maybe we should have gotten married alone like I suggested. I don’t think I can say my vows with everyone standing here watching.
Abrey: *grabs Greg’s hands* Look at me… it’s just you and me, okay. Just focus on me and you’ll be alright!
Gregory: Okay
Abrey: Come here…
Abrey hugs Greg until he can feel the nervousness and shakiness begin to fade away.
Abrey: *whispers in Greg’s ear* It’s just you and me forever babe.
Greg and Abrey exchange their vows and rings and kiss as their lives are joined as one.
Trent walks over and congratulates his brother…
Trent: Congrats little bro! I wish you both the best.
Gregory: *emotional* Thank you…that means a lot coming from you!
Greg gives his new husband a quick kiss before the two of them head over to the reception area. They opted out of the traditional wedding cake since Ray isn’t around to make one (actually I forgot to have one of them bake a cake).
There’s nothing like a wedding to make you feel extra lonely.
Kisha wishes she would have asked Jeff to come with her. He’s been on her mind this whole time. She wishes she could at least see him later today, but he’s working until late tonight.
As if he’s read her mind, Jeff sends Kisha a text…
Jeff’s Text: You’ve been on my mind all day.
Kisha’s Text: =) Same here
Jeff’s Text: I’m off work on Monday.
Kisha’s Text: Me too.
Jeff’s Text: Let’s plan something
Kisha’s Text: Okay
