Reminder: This is my first Sims 4 family, originally posted back in 2015. I’m in the process of moving these posts over from my Tumblr page. See more info here!

Kisha wakes up the next morning feeling like a hormonal teen with a secret to hide after having a female’s equivalent of a teenage boys’ wet dream.  Leftover images of her and Jeff together still cling to her thoughts as she makes up her bed and begins to get ready for work.

As she eats her breakfast, Kisha begins to prepare for her next date with Jeff in her mind.  What should they do?  Should they go to a club, have a picnic or catch a movie… or maybe have a romantic dinner together here at her house.  Is it time for her to give into her desire for him…or would it be wiser to make him wait awhile?  If only Kisha had someone around who could give her the advice that she needs right now.  Once again, she feels like she’s over thinking everything.

At work later, Kisha wants to make sure she’s cleared the air with Angela…

Kisha:  All is forgiven…

Angela: You like him, don’t you?

Kisha:  Yeah…I do

Angela:  Something told me that you would!  I’m happy to hear that.  I’d better be invited to the wedding!

Kisha:  I didn’t say I liked him that much!  I’m still getting to know him.

Angela:  Whatever…just make sure that I receive the first invite!

Kisha doesn’t get to hang around the station for long.  She has another case…this one takes her to her own neighborhood.  Somebody has vandalized Leigh and Tess’ house (Abrey’s mother and sister).

There’s one witness to the crime…

Kisha:  What’s your name?

Richard:  I’m Richard Rodriguez.

Kisha:  Rodriguez?  Are you Olivia and Alfonso’s son?

Richard:  Yes

Kisha:  So you live next door?

Richard:  Yes

Kisha:  So…did you see who did this?

Richard:  Just his back as he was running away.  It was a teenage boy.

Kisha:  Anything else?

Richard fills Kisha in on everything he saw.

Back at the station, Kisha begins to analyze the evidence.  Because she knows the victims, she feels extra pressure to solve this case.  When the evidence doesn’t line up, Kisha begins to feel extremely tense.

Things only get worse when she’s called up to the lobby and sees her brother Greg standing there…

Gregory:  So…did you catch whoever vandalized my mother-in-law’s house?

Kisha:  How’d you hear about it so quickly?

Gregory:  Abrey of course!  Did you catch them?

Kisha:  No Greg…I just left the scene, but I have a lot of evidence to analyze and you’re interrupting.

Gregory:  Abrey and I won’t be able to sleep at night knowing that Leigh and Tess may be in danger.

Kisha:  It was just vandalism, Greg!  They’re not in danger…stop being so dramatic!

Gregory:  Are you sure you’re equipped to solve this?

Kisha: *insulted*  Of course I am!  What the f-?  I’ll solve it, but you have to let me get back to work!

Kisha is extremely irritated with Greg for the rest of her work day.  How dare he imply that she’s no good at her job!  The only thing that makes her feel better is the fact that she leaves work with another promotion.  She’s now a detective!

Kisha has been watching the cooking channel a lot lately and decides to put her new skills to the test.  She’s pleasantly surprised when her fish tacos come out tasting delicious!  Maybe she actually can cook dinner for Jeff tomorrow.

If she decides to cook tomorrow, Kisha wants the freshest ingredients possible, so she heads over to the All Natural Garden Center in Magnolia Promenade to buy her ingredients.

Kisha sees that Leigh, Abrey’s mom, works at the garden center.  Because of what Greg said earlier, she considers going over and reassuring Leigh that she’ll find whoever it was that vandalized her house but decides to leave it alone.  She won’t let Greg’s insecurities and doubts affect her in any way.  Kisha grabs a cup of tea instead.

Kisha finds a table outside and sits down with her cup of tea and a book that she finds already there on the table.  The garden center is a nice place to hang out and relax.

Mrs. Hughes, one of the employees at the garden center sits down and joins Kisha at the table.

Mrs. Hughes:  Hey, I know you!  You’re Kisha.  You used to play with my youngest kids when you all were little.

Kisha:  Yeah, Jonah and Haylee, right?

Mrs. Hughes:  Yep…and your brother Trent is my oldest son’s best friend.  I’ve known your family for a while!

Kisha:  I still see Jonah from time to time, but how is everyone else?

Mrs.  Hughes:  Good…they’re all doing great!

Kisha:  Glad to see you again.

Kisha’s conversation with Mrs. Hughes is interrupted by Mr. Scott, the widower of Beverly Scott (Mitzi’s best friend).  Suddenly, Kisha feels like she’s eavesdropping on something intimate.  The two of them have been neighbors for years and it sounds like Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Scott has had something going on between them for a while now.  Feeling slightly uncomfortable, it’s a great time for Kisha to excuse herself and go home.
