Kisha gets up early to give Zena her morning bottle and to prepare breakfast. She’s actually learning how to add a little extra flavor to each of her meals.
Jeff wakes up soon after and baby Zena gets the first kisses of the morning.
Kisha: Should I be jealous? Where are my kisses?
Jeffrey: Your kisses come later…but I have a big surprise for you.
Kisha: What?
Jeffrey: You’re getting the day off. I paid for a complete spa day for you and your friend Ebony. I’m talking massages, pedicures, hand massages…whatever you want!
Kisha: A spa day? But-
Jeffrey: No buts! I’ll take care of Zena…you don’t have to worry.
Kisha: But don’t you have to work today?
Jeffrey: I’ve arranged for day care for Zena when I have to leave for work. I don’t want you rushing home! I want you to go and enjoy yourself…no worries!
Kisha: That’s so sweet of you. Thanks!
Finding no good reasons not to go, Kisha decides to take a bath and get ready for her day at the spa.
Jeff begins his day with Zena outside on the patio…
Jeffrey: Check this out Zee…your dad is a beast! Full speed run on the treadmill…no hands and I’m not even breaking a sw- *slips on the treadmill* Oh damn! *bumps head* Ow! *attempts to recover* Don’t tell your mom about that!
Kisha joins them on the patio…
Kisha: You okay? You look a little woozy.
Jeffrey: I’m good! Why wouldn’t I be? *begins jogging again*
Kisha: I thought I heard you shouting.
Jeffrey: Nope…must have been the neighbors. So, have you called Ebony up yet?
Kisha: What? Are you in a rush to get rid of me?
Jeffrey: Never!
Jeff sits down next to Kisha…
Jeffrey: So…should we start planning a wedding?
Kisha: *playfully pushes Jeff away* You have to propose first!
Jeffrey: I thought I already did.
Kisha: No! I want a real, down on one knee proposal! And a ring that I can show off!
Jeffrey: Does that mean that you’ll say ‘yes’?
Kisha: *teasing* Maybe…I haven’t decided yet. I’ll know when you propose.
Jeffrey: *playful tone* What if I propose now?
Kisha: Not all smelly! Go take a shower!
Jeff reenters the house to take a shower and Kisha calls Ebony…
Kisha: Hey girl…what are you doing right now? What? You’re at work? What time do you get off? Dang…Jeff paid for us to go to the spa today. Yeah…okay. I think I know somebody else who could probably come with me. Okay…maybe next time.
Kisha hangs up with Ebony and calls up her backup plan…
Angela wasn’t working, so she ends up filling in for Ebony at the spa. Although Kisha is glad to spend some time with her work friend, she can’t help but feel that something is a little off between them. In fact, things haven’t been quite the same since she and Jeff began seeing each other regularly.
Angela: Thanks for inviting me!
Kisha: Glad to have you…although I was surprised you could come. You usually work a double shift on days like this, right?
Angela: Yes…that’s part of the reason why I decided to quit the police force.
Kisha: What? You quit?
Angela: Yeah…the hours were too long. I had zero time for a social life.
Kisha: Well, that’s a good reason. I’ll miss you at work, though!
Kisha and Angela walk into one of the private massage rooms. Kisha is shocked to see that creepy Todd is the massage therapist.
Kisha: Wait…so you’re the massage therapist?
Todd: Yeah…good to see you again after all these years.
Kisha: Is there anyone else on duty?
Todd: Not right now…
Angela: Kisha, you go ahead, I can come back later.
Kisha is not quite comfortable being alone with Todd, so she almost asks Angela to wait. She just hopes that Todd behaves in a professional manner.
Kisha can almost feel Todd’s eyes on her butt.
Kisha: *muffled* You’d better stop looking at my butt, Todd!
Todd: I’m not. What kind of person do you think I am?
Kisha: The kind that would stare at my butt while giving a massage!
Todd: Not true…not true at all!
Todd peels his eyes away from Kisha’s butt and begins the massage.
Once Kisha gets past her discomfort, she realizes that Todd actually gives a pretty good massage.
Todd: So, Kisha…are you seeing anyone now?
Kisha: *sighs* Don’t ruin a great massage with a question like that. Let’s just leave it professional, okay?
Todd: Okay…sorry.
Kisha is glad to escape Todd’s clutches unscathed.
Meanwhile, Angela has found the perfect place to enjoy a lavender soak. Kisha accidentally walks in but hurries out before Angela sees her and she ends up embarrassing them both. Kisha did note that Angela does have a really nice body. She can see why Jeff was attracted to her at one point.
After being pregnant and carrying so much extra weight…a foot massage is just what Kisha needed.
Angela and Kisha finish off their day at the spa with a light jog on the treadmills. When they’ve finished up…
Kisha: So…would you like to meet baby Zena?
Angela: Absolutely!
