Reminder: This is my first Sims 4 family, originally posted back in 2015. I’m in the process of moving these posts over from my Tumblr page. See more info here!

It’s baby Zena’s birthday and she wakes up with a little stinky surprise for her mom and dad.
Kisha: I’m sorry Jeff…you’ll have to change it. I have to get ready for work! *hurries to the bathroom*
Jeffrey: *complains out loud for Kisha to hear* Oh great! Ugh Zena…and it’s a messy one too!

Shortly after her diaper change…Zena ages up. Her childhood ambition is Rambunctious Scamp with a Self-assured trait.
(I will never get used to them popping out of the crib half grown up😒)

Zena heads to her new bedroom to check it out and to get a change of clothes.

Kisha: Happy Birthday sweetie!
Zena: Thank you, mommy!
Kisha: You sure you don’t want me to cook you something other than those left-over pancakes.
Zena: No…I like the pancakes.
Kisha: Okay

Kisha: So, you know that mommy has to go back to work today, right?
Zena: Yes
Kisha: Do you know what the plan is?
Zena: Nope
Kisha: When I leave for work…you’re going to stay with daddy until he has to go to work. Then he’ll take you to daycare. I get off work at 6 pm, so I’ll pick you up no later than 6:30. Got it?
Zena: *over confident tone* Got it!
Kisha: You sure?
Zena: Yes

Kisha: *testing* Okay, so I’ll pick you up at -?
Zena: No later than 6:30…I know the plan mommy!
Kisha: Just making sure!
Jeffrey: So, I guess it’s just you and me kid!
Zena: Do you know the plan, daddy?
Jeffrey: The plan?

Kisha is sad to leave Zena behind, but she’s glad to be back at work. Other than Angela being gone…everything is exactly the same. Life at the police station just went on as usual while she was away.

Kisha checks the computer for another case. She adds a few clues to the crime board and heads out to the crime scene…

This case leads to a well-to-do neighborhood in Oasis Springs. Turns out that it’s another one of those home vandalism/graffiti cases. Kisha once again has her work cut out for her.

Back at the police station, Kisha is working so hard analyzing evidence that she loses track of time. Before she knows it, it’s almost time to pick up Zena at daycare.

Kisha is too close to narrowing down a suspect to stop now. Rather than leave work, she texts the daycare to let them know that she’ll be a few hours late.
