The next morning is Love Day, and Jalisa has solo karaoke dates lined up with the Panda and the Yeti. She climbs out of bed and heads to the bathroom to prepare for her dates.
Angus and Jalisa meet up early for their date in San Myshuno. It starts out with Angus rejecting Jalisa’s embrace. Jalisa’s feelings are hurt slightly, but she remains in an inspired mood. Angus is happy. They enter the bar and sit down…
Voidcritter: This is actually the first Love Day where I’ve actually had a date.
Panda: I went on a few Love Day dates in the past, but neither of them ended very well.
Voidcritter: Well, this is our chance to make up for that!
Panda: You’re right! I’m really glad to be here with you.
Jalisa nods towards the karaoke stage…
Voidcritter: You ready, Angus?
Panda: I’m ready!
Jalisa and Angus choose a country song and do their best to give a good performance. Angus doesn’t have the best voice, but he really gets into it.
After the performance…
Voidcritter: How do you feel, Angus?
Panda: *proud* That was awesome! I never thought I’d do a performance in a full costume…or any outfit for that matter.
Voidcritter: Well, you’re a natural! You should put yourself out there more.
Angus and Jalisa grab drinks and chocolate covered strawberries before walking over to a nearby table. Jalisa gently rubs Angus’ chin before she sits down.
Voidcritter: This is a great start to the day.
Panda: Best Love Day ever!
Angus is feeling confident, and Jalisa is very happy. When it’s time for the date to end…
Panda: You are the nicest woman I’ve ever met. I can only imagine how gorgeous you are under that costume.
Voidcritter: Thank you, but what if I’m not what people would typically think of as gorgeous?
Panda: Either way, you’re gorgeous on the inside…that’s what really matters.
Jalisa hands Angus a rose.
Voidcritter: It’s a tradition to give flowers on Love Day.
Panda: Thank you! *apologetic* I wish I had one for you too.
Voidcritter: I value your presence more than a present right now…
Panda: That’s sweet.
The date ends on a good note. Angus and Jalisa’s relationship status increases to lovebirds.
