Jalisa meets all the guys at the park once again. The rain matches her mood…
Voidcritter: This elimination makes me want to cry because I’m going to have a tough time saying goodbye to any of you. But…it has to be done, so we might as well get started. The order that I approach you will be the order of our next set of dates…which is guy’s choice this time. The last person will be eliminated.
(Note: Just like last time…the order is based on your votes. The first person received the most votes, and so on. From now on… Jalisa will use the “ask to be just friends” interaction to end the romantic relationship with every guy being eliminated.)
Jalisa approaches the Bunny and gives him a hug first.
Voidcritter: Nate…you’re moving on to the next round and will be the first date.
Bunny: Thank the Watcher…
She does the same with the Knight and finally the Panda. They all leave to begin planning their dates.
Jalisa stares at the remaining 3 guys.
Voidcritter: The three of you had the lowest relationship with me and are in danger of elimination. *takes a breath* This is extremely difficult because you all are great guys and I have no doubt that with more time…we could have developed a deep romantic relationship. Or at the very least…lifelong friendships.
Jalisa walks over to the Raccoon and hugs him before asking him, then dismisses him to join the others. Now she’s down to the final two, and she’s feeling herself become emotional. Esteban raises his hand, trying to help her through the process…
Yeti: It’s okay, Jalisa…I know that I’m the next to go.
This only makes it worse, because even in the end…Esteban is thinking of her feelings before his own. On shaky legs…she walks over to Thomas and gives him a hug. He holds her tight…partially to comfort her as she’s faced with this difficult process, and partly in relief because he has made it to the next round.
Finally, she walks over to Esteban.
Voidcritter: *on the verge of tears* I’m so sorry to see you go.
Yeti: I’m sorry too.
Voidcritter: Please step over to the camera and…*too emotional to finish her statement*
Yeti: …remove my costume, I know.
Jalisa is pleased to finally get to see who’s under the Yeti costume. Just like the others…he’s a very handsome guy. She gives him a big hug.
Voidcritter: *after the hug* I hope that we can at least be friends.
Esteban: I wouldn’t have it any other way. And to be honest…there’s no way that a guy like me had a chance with a girl like you anyway.
Voidcritter: You don’t give yourself enough credit. You’re an incredible guy and I just know that you’ll soon find someone that deserves to win over your heart.
Esteban: Maybe it’s possible…but it took someone like you to finally thaw it.
Voidcritter: I’ll see you during the finale.
Esteban: I wouldn’t miss seeing the real you for anything in the world…
(The Voidcritter) Another great guy bites the dust. I’m beginning to wonder if this whole thing is worth it. Is it the key to finding true lasting love…or just a way to keep breaking my own heart? I’ll miss you, Esteban… *soft sob*
