Kisha reviews her case and discovers that she has enough clues to put out an APB.  She just might be able to solve this case today!

Kisha arrives in Magnolia park and begins searching for a teenage girl with red hair, wearing a tank top and jeans.

Kisha spots her right away and makes small talk with her so she doesn’t run away.  The last thing Kisha wants to do right now is end up chasing someone in her condition, so she turns on the charm…

Kisha:  Girl, you are working those boots!  Where’d you get them?

Teenage Girl:  Trolley Stop Plaza…they were half off!

Kisha:  I see! Um…I need for you to come with me.  You’re a suspect in a vandalism case.

Teenage Girl:  What!  You have the wrong person.

Kisha:  I doubt it…hold out your arms now!

Back at the station; passing the jail cells…

Teenage Girl:  Ohhhh, criminals!  Are they dangerous?

Kisha:  Lie to me in interrogation and you’ll find out!

In the interrogation room…

Teenage Girl:  Oh wow!  This looks a lot like the interrogation rooms on TV!

Kisha:  This is not a vacation tour.  This is serious!  You’re a suspect in a serious crime.

Teenage Girl:  That light is kind of bright in my face…can you turn it down some?

Kisha:  *sarcastic* Sure, because your comfort means so much to me right now. *turns up the intensity on the light to make it even brighter*

Kisha reads over the girl’s case file and her heart is broken once again.

Kisha:  So Kristyn…you’re 15 years old and both of your parents are in jail for drug charges.

Kristyn:  *surprised* You know about that?

Kisha:  It’s all right here in your file.  So, you’re a ward of the state?

Kristyn:  I guess so

Kisha:  So…is this some sort of gang thing?  I already busted your pal Rico…so tell me?  What’s up with the paintings all over town?

Kristyn:  I’m not telling you anything!

A strong bout of nausea suddenly creeps up on Kisha.

Kristyn:  You okay?  It looks like you’re about to barf all over the table.

Kisha:  No…I’m not okay.  You have about 3 minutes to tell me what I need to know before I end up doing just that.

Kristyn:  Whatever, but nice try!

Kisha leans over the table and pretends to gag violently.  It’s enough to scare Kristyn.

Kristyn:  Oh my Gawd!  You’re really going to do it!

Kisha’s morning sickness proves useful…Kristyn is scared of Kisha’s threat enough to give her a full confession.

Locking these kids up will never get easier for Kisha.

Kisha has the bright idea to try working out on the weight machines at work.  When she becomes overly tired and smelly way too quickly…she decides that maybe she should take it easy until the baby is born.

With no patrols and no new case assignment, Kisha spends the rest of the day at a desk.

Now that the taco casserole is finally gone, Kisha decides to cook up some Pan-Fried Tilapia; hoping that it won’t make her feel nauseous. It comes out pretty good and Kisha is beginning to think she may have inherited some of her dad’s great cooking skills.

Jeff comes to the house and begins looking all over for Kisha; relieved to finally find her in the pool.

Jeffrey:  You had me worried for a minute there!

Jeffrey:  Babe…we have some things that we should probably talk about.

Kisha:  Okay *joins Jeff at the side of the pool*

Jeff leans over to give Kisha a kiss.  Kisha stops him…

Kisha: Wait…can you rub my back and shoulders first?

Jeffrey:  Is the baby already making your back and shoulders hurt?

Kisha:  No, I made the mistake of trying the weight machine at work today.

Jeffrey:  Hey… you can’t be doing that.  You have to take care of our baby.

Kisha:  I know…I just don’t want to gain too much weight.

Jeffrey:  If gaining weight is a part of having a healthy baby, then don’t worry about how much you gain!  You’ll always be beautiful to me!

Kisha:  Aw…now I want that kiss!

Kisha:  *between kisses* What did you want to talk about?

Jeffrey:  I was thinking that maybe I should move in…you know – officially.  I want to make sure that I’m here for you and the baby.

Kisha:  Yeah…I think that would be a great idea.

Jeffrey:  Okay…I’ll start moving my stuff in tomorrow.

Kisha remains on the side of the pool while Jeff swims a few laps.  Although their situation isn’t what she planned, she feels pretty good about where their relationship is going.

With a new baby coming, Jeff needs a promotion more than ever…so he manages to fit in another workout before bed.  Kisha has to be a little more careful with her workout choices but discovers that even being pregnant doesn’t stop her from meditating regularly.
