Born under the last name Tate (prologue – Day 34.2), Alida was dealt some terrible cards, but she managed to play them well. While growing up in a foster home, Alida decided to take fate into her own hands and change her last name to Banks to give herself a new start in life. She grew up to be successful as a programmer (level 10) and as a mother, wife, grandmother, and an incredibly loyal friend.
