The time has come to say goodbye to beloved Prosperity “Peri” Banks (Day 40 – Day 53.3). Peri lived a vibrant life, both literally and figuratively. At a young age, she described her emotions in shades and tints rather than the usual adjectives. While that ability began to fade as Peri grew older, she still expressed herself in bright hues of color and light through her art and attire. She loved hard and worked even harder, reaching the highest skill levels in cooking, painting, and photography. She attended college as a single mom and a first-generation student. But that didn’t stop her from earning her degree, reaching the highest level in her career as an artist, and later opening up an art center. She was an incredible daughter, mom, sister, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
