During the 3 hour ride from Windenburg, Adwin planned how he was going to tell Mina about Carla. But when he finally arrives home and sees her standing in the kitchen near the window, he considers not telling her at all and leaving well enough alone.
Inside, Mina is popping popcorn for the family in preparation for Season Premier Night. The boys chat about what they think the Game of Llamas premiere will be like.
Adwin takes a deep breath and steps inside the house. The boys jump up and run to him immediately.
Marvel and Opus: *together* Daddy! Daddy!
Adwin gives Marvel a big hug.
Adwin: I’m so happy to see you, boys! You’ve gotten so big!
Marvel: You missed our birthday, daddy.
Adwin: I know and I promise to make it up to you!
Satisfied with that, Marvel runs off. Adwin gives Opus a big hug.
Adwin walks over to greet Mina next.
Adwin: *big hug* I missed you so much! You look amazing. I love your hair.
Mina: You noticed!
Adwin: Of course I did!
Marvel interrupts their moment of intimacy…
Marvel: *switching the channel on the TV* C’mon mom! It’s starting! It’s starting!
Adwin changes out of his traveling clothes and follows Mina as she heads towards the kitchen.
Adwin: What’s starting?
Mina: The season premiere of the Game of Llamas…the boys’ favorite show.
Adwin: Oh! That’s why I smell popcorn.
Adwin and Mina grab a bowl of popcorn and join the boys on the couch.
The premiere doesn’t disappoint. Even Adwin is entertained. Marvel actually cheers at the great ending.
Marvel: That was awesome!
Mina: That was great, but it’s late so It’s time for bed.
Marvel and Opus finish up their popcorn and head upstairs to brush their teeth and get ready for bed. Adwin is more than happy to be the one to tuck them in and kiss them goodnight. He’s so happy to be home.
(By the way…we lost poor Bastet. I was looking for her, then I noticed her portrait was gone. She passed away from old age and will be missed 😢)
Mina is waiting for Adwin in the bedroom when he’s done with the boys. She looks amazing and he tells her right away.
Adwin: *gets a good look* You look incredible babe.
Mina: *sexy smile* I missed you so much!
As much as Adwin hates to…just looking at her standing there waiting for him – he knows he needs to tell her what almost happened in Windenburg with Carla. He doesn’t feel right taking her into his arms without making sure that there are no secrets between them.
Adwin: I missed you too *hesitates* but there’s something that I need to tell you.
The smile on her face disappears as if she already knows what’s next.
Mina: What is it?
Mina’s voice is strained and she looks as if she’s about to be sick.
Adwin takes a deep breath…hoping it’ll send some oxygen to his brain to help him get the next few words right.
Adwin: Uh…when I arrived at the Hotel in Windenburg…after work the first day – uh…Carla was there.
Mina’s only response is a sharp inhale. She places her hand on her chest to prepare herself to hear the rest.
Adwin: We uh…we talked and hung out at the bar. Then I went to my room.
Mina: That’s it? Why are you telling me this Adwin?
Adwin: Because it didn’t end there. I texted her the next day. She wanted to show me around Windenburg and I was feeling bad about not being here for the boys…so I agreed to go. I just … I didn’t want to be alone.
Mina: *sudden realization* On Marvel and Opus’ birthday?
Adwin: Yeah…I’m so sorry.
Mina: *sunken hurt tone* Please tell me that’s all that happened.
Adwin tries to respond, but he sees tears forming under Mina’s closed eyelids. The pain on her face causes his words to jumble together and makes him pause too long; leaving Mina to form her own conclusion.
Adwin: I…uh…we –
Mina: *recoils to his lack of response* No…just…just stop! I don’t want to hear any more.
Adwin: She stayed with me, but we didn’t do anything. I swear…we just talked babe. We talked and it’s over. Mina…I promise that it’s over.
Mina: I knew it! I freaking knew it! I knew that you had feelings for her! And you lied to me about it! All it took was one moment…one opportunity…just like I said and –
Adwin: We didn’t woohoo babe…
Mina: *forceful* But you wanted to! Don’t lie to me, Adwin! You wanted to, didn’t you?
Adwin: I…just…j-just for a moment.
Mina: Oh Gawd! Just for a moment?! I can’t believe this!
Mina: How far did it get Adwin? What did you do? Huh? Kissing…touching – you know what? I don’t even want to know. Bye Adwin!
Mina heads towards the door forgetting about the fact that she’s still in her underwear.
Adwin: Mina…wait!
Mina stops, but she’s too angry to say anything. She turns to face him. Adwin drops down in front of her and grabs her leg.
Adwin: *crying* Don’t leave me, baby! Please don’t leave me! Nothing happened because I love you and only you! I couldn’t touch her because you’re all I want.
Adwin: Mina…marry me! Marry me, babe.
Mina: What the hell, Adwin? Is this a game to you?
Adwin: *begins kissing her stomach and slowly stands up* No…this is my life. I’d die without you. Let’s start over…give me a chance to renew my vows to you. I swear no one will ever come between us, baby! *kisses Mina’s chest, then moves over to her shoulder*
Mina is breathless from Adwin’s kisses. His hand gently massages one of her breasts. Mina feels weak under his touch.
Mina: *still pissed, but aroused* Damn you Adwin! I f&#ckin’ hate you right now!
Adwin: *whispers between kisses* No you don’t! Don’t say that! Let me make it up…please baby! Give me a chance to make it up.

Adwin’s hands make their way lower on Mina’s body. Mina’s resolve disappears around the same time as Adwin’s clothes. Adwin is determined to prove his words to Mina. He kisses her neck, she releases a pleasurable sigh… giving in completely.
Adwin: *whispers* Will you marry me again?
Mina can only manage one word that’s almost indistinguishable from her moans of pleasure…but Adwin is listening closely, so he hears it loud and clear…
Mina: Yes.
With that Adwin leads her to the bed, where they woohoo until they’re both too exhausted to go on.
